Help Develop the College's Exam

The College is seeking applications from members interested in joining the Item Writing committee. This committee is responsible for developing the College’s entry-to-practice exam questions under direction of the exam provider and Examination Committee which correspond to the approved Examination Blueprint.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Attend a 2-hour web conference training session
  • Produce 10-15 questions prior to the in-person session
  • Attend at least one in-person, two-day session per year to develop and review questions
  • Develop one question per month that will be added to the question bank

This is a two year appointment with the possibility of re-appointment. All committee members receive orientation and training. Members are paid a per diem for each session attended, and all reasonable travel, accommodation and meal expenses are reimbursed. All sessions will be held at the CKO office.

This is a great opportunity to have your say in the regulation of your profession.
