Have you heard about the peer and practice assessment process
? Are you interested in having a second pair of eyes look at your practice? You don’t need to wait to be randomly selected to enjoy the benefits of this program. We are always seeking volunteers to participate in peer and practice assessment.
Peer and practice assessment gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with an assessor, talk about your practice, confirm your strengths, and identify opportunities for improvement. Using a behaviour-based interview as the foundation for discussion, you and a trained assessor will discuss your practice, review a selection of client records and consider areas where you might improve your practice- whether in record keeping, understanding consent or any other area that you might identify.
Show others you are a regulated healthcare professional committed to improving your practice and volunteer today! To find out what assessment day looks like.
If you are interested in volunteering, contact Lara Thacker, Director, Quality Assurance via email
or at (416) 961-7000 ext. 103.
