As a result of changes to legislation in 2002, regulated health professionals are permitted to incorporate for the purpose of practising a health profession, provided that they obtain certificates of authorization from their respective health profession colleges. A professional corporation is one or more professionals practising the profession that they are registered to practise as a representative of a corporation.
The College has developed a guide to help you apply for a professional corporation. Once you have read through the guide, please complete the application form.
A certificate of authorization must be renewed each during the renewal period (July 1 – August 31). To renew your certificate of authorization, complete the renewal form and mail it to the College, along with the $400 renewal fee.
