As the regulator of Registered Kinesiologists in Ontario, looking after the public interest is at the core of everything we do. One way we fulfill this responsibility is by educating the public about the role and scope of practice of Registered Kinesiologists, and how regulation helps ensure the safety and quality of kinesiology care.

Sharing Registered Kinesiologist’s real-world practice experience is an effective way to support public understanding and trust in the profession and how it is governed and regulated in the public interest. Therefore, we are exploring a public awareness initiative that uses practice storytelling to highlight the important and diverse work of Registered Kinesiologists across Ontario. This initiative will help more people better understand who Registered Kinesiologists are, where you practise, the patients and clients you serve, and the positive impact you have on their health and well-being. These stories will also help explain our role as the regulator and how we oversee the profession in the public interest.
