Rowan’s Law (Concussion Safety) information for health care providers

The Ministry of Health recently issued information about Rowan’s Law (Concussion Safety) and the removal-from-sport and return-to-sport protocol requirements that came into effect on January 1, 2022. To help support the implementation of the removal-from-sport and return-to-sport protocols, the Ministry has created a Rowan’s Law: Information for Health Care Providers that is available on the government’s concussions webpage. Ontario’s chief medical officer issues order to report monkeypox cases

The Ministry of Health is closely monitoring monkeypox cases. They are urging all health care providers to be alert for patients with symptoms that are consistent with the monkeypox virus, especially if they have had travel or contact with a known case.
