Leanne Smith - Academic Member

Leanne Smith currently works in the School of Kinesiology at Lakehead University, where she has been for the past 10 years. She has been heavily involved in practical opportunities for kinesiology students from assisting or leading lab sessions, arranging and monitoring community placement opportunities, to facilitating co-op employment and study abroad opportunities. Before moving to Thunder Bay, she worked for 18+ years providing a full gamut of services provided by kinesiologists to clients in clinics, homes, and with their employers. Leanne holds a Bachelor of Science, in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Science, in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
