COKO’s Council met on June 22, 2026. During this meeting, Council:

• Approved revisions to the Essential Competencies of Practice for Kinesiologists in Ontario;
• Approved proposed refinements to the assessment tools and process within the COKO Education Equivalency Evaluation Framework;
• Approved a policy governing use of AI by COKO;
• Approved a multi-year Communications Strategy & Implementation Plan;
• Approved the COKO Budget and Operational Plan for Fiscal Year 2026/2027;
• Made other governance decisions, including:
  • approved an amended 2025/2026 Committee Slate; and
  • appointed an auditor to conduct the 2025/2026 financial audit.
