Putting Patients/Clients First: Join Our upcoming virtual town hall on Patient/Client-Centred Care
What does patient/client-centred care really look like in practice—and how can we help you bring it into every aspect of your practice of kinesiology?
We invite you to join our upcoming virtual town hall, where we will explore how R.Kins can meaningfully apply patient/client-centred principles into their day-to-day work. As an R.Kin, whether or not you work directly with patients/clients, this session will offer valuable insights and practical takeaways.
We have invited a range of panelists who will:
- Share their firsthand experiences navigating the healthcare system—what made them feel heard, respected, and supported, and what could have been done differently. Their perspectives will ground our discussion in what matters most: the lived experience of those we serve.
- Provide insight into how patient/client-centred care can be upheld in different practice settings, and how R.Kins can play a role in shaping positive experiences and outcomes.
- Offer perspectives on how patient/client-centred care is taught in academic settings, and how future practitioners are supported in understanding and applying these principles.
This is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and engage in a meaningful conversation about the impact of your practice on patients/clients and the broader system.
We also want to hear from you. Take a minute to let us know what you’d like to learn about patient/client-centred care by completing the survey below before 5 p.m. on April 8.
